eFax.com
and yesmail.com Announce E-commerce Partnership
Menlo Park, Calif.---eFax.com, the leading free fax-to-email service, and yesmail.com, a
leading provider of permission email direct marketing solutions, today announced an
e-commerce partnership to provide products and services to eFax members.
The eFax service offers a free fax number to individuals so they can receive private faxes
to their own email account. eFax.com effectively turns every standard fax machine into an
Internet on-ramp.
For millions of on-the-go professionals, this is a revolution in their document
communication--reducing paper clutter and making faxing accessible--anywhere at anytime.
As the first company to provide such a free, unlimited Internet service, eFax.com is
setting a new standard with its easy-to-use, proprietary fax-to-email delivery technology.
eFax.com has signed up over 900,000 members since February.
"We are pleased that eFax.com has selected yesmail.com as their partner to facilitate
their entry into permission email direct marketing," said Dave Tolmie, President and
CEO of yesmail.com. "By becoming our newest YesMail Network Affiliate, eFax.com will
be able to provide their subscribers privacy and control over the email messages they want
to receive."
Working with yesmail.com, eFax.com will contact its subscribers to inquire about interests
in various e-commerce product and service categories. Members of the eFax free
fax-to-email service opt-in to receive more information over time, and yesmail.com manages
the communication process from that point forward. yesmail.com offers the tools and
administration technology for sites to acquire permission email subscribers. eFax members
specifically give their approval to receive messages, announcements and offers in topic
categories that they are interested in. Both companies share in the revenue opportunities.
"yesmail.com has a strong sales organization that works with major companies wanting
to reach online audiences," said Ron Brown, vice president of marketing at eFax.com.
"This alliance allows us to offer our customers value-add e-services with
yesmail.com's secure and customer-friendly permission email marketing services."
