Shannon has been working on the Internet since 1994, when she wrote her Masters'
Thesis, "Marketing on the Internet."
She currently manages or contributes to over 15 e-mail marketing campaigns or e-mail
newsletters, including Microsoft Southeast and WebPromote Weekly, which goes out to more
than 400,000 subscribers every Wednesday.
This fall, her first book, "Marketing With E-Mail: A Spam-Free Guide to Increasing
Awareness, Building Loyalty, and Increasing Sales," will be published by
Maximum Press.
She is the moderator for the discussion list "Online Publishers," the publisher
of the weekly "Marketing With E-Mail Idea Feed" and a columnist for
Entrepreneur's Business Start-Ups and digitalsouth magazines. She has forged strategic
partnerships with several companies in the e-mail marketing industry, including RevNet,
NetCreations, Listhost and YesMail and was recently featured as a guest in the Listwire
teleconference titled:
"Ten Keys to Success for E-Mail Marketing."
