Wanda Loskot
Success Connection
Sane Marketing for Realtors
Who the Heck is Wanda
Loskot?
I know from my own experience
that there are no limits -- only the ones we set for ourselves. Raised and educated in
Poland, I left my country and my career as a journalist only with big dreams and $100 in
the pocket.
My immigration was a lonely journey -- I had no friends or family on the West to turn for
help. So, in the free world I went through many stages -- from the refugee camp in
Treiskirchen/Austria to running my own real estate company in New York. But before I got
what I wanted, I paid my dues: babysitting, waiting tables, cleaning homes, even worked in
the toothpick factory in Vienna!
In New York I established a successful restaurant with only $150 of my own capital (people
are still asking me for the recipes. Later, in my first year in real estate I became the
"Number One" agent in one of the largest companies in New York state! And
- like many other true entrepreneurs - I went also through a string of failures, even a
bankruptcy! But because I don't give up easily, I was always able to rebuild what's lost.
The only way to grow is to risk and fail -- yes -- to fail! If you are afraid to
fail -- you deny yourself the opportunity to grow! (Check my favorite stories of
successful failures.)
In the process, I was learning more and more about business, about marketing, about
lasting relationships. Every single day I would listen to other successful people on tapes
or read their books. After a while of that intensive education I discovered a need to
share with others my knowledge of success dynamics. That's when I decided to become a
trainer and professional speaker.
In the past years people from all walks of life have taken part in my workshops. For two
years I produced a monthly TV program called "Success Connection" - interviewing
many outstanding entrepreneurs who shared their strategies with me. My weekly column
"Secrets of Success" appeared in eleven major newspapers in Poland - for my
Polish readers I
created also the American School of Success which is the largest self-develpment site in
Polish language.
I also coordinate a mentoring program of the Association for International Business (with
over 9,000 members in 160 countries). And I still continue to invest on average of 20
hours per week to read the most current books and journals on the subject of marketing and
peak performance! Every single day I listen to self-development tapes and at least once a
month I attend a seminar I believe has value.
My unique expertise is sifting through all the great ideas, searching for nuggets of
wisdom and condensing them into practical, useful, street smart strategies that allow my
clients to grow business exponentially - with the utmost integrity and pleasure.
